About Me

My name is Alan Vezina, I’m a software engineer living in Seattle, Washington. I enjoy open source software, bicycles, beer, and coffee.

Currently I am a co-founder and CTO of a small company called Jydo, where we build an enterprise AV automation platform.

Previously I was a Software Engineer at LabKey Software, where I helped build open source tools for scientists and researchers to organize, analyze, visualize, and share their data.

I am also a co-organizer of Puget Sound Programming Python (PuPPy), a Python Meetup group with over 1,300 members. I spend my time finding people to give talks, emceeing the monthly meetups, and hopefully soon running the occasional workshop. If you are interested in giving a talk at PuPPy feel free to reach out to me via twitter or the Meetup page.
